Ausbarge Marine Services was established when it was identified there was a lack of quality marine providers with a broad service offering on the east coast of Australia. With some major projects in the pipeline, the east coast did not have the marine resources required to provide marine support to these projects.

Ausbarge went about not only supplying marine plant but included consultation and support using the many years’ experience the two principals of Ausbarge gained in the industry.

This has proven to be a successful objective with Ausbarge being engaged in several major and many smaller marine projects in many locations of the East Coast of NSW and around Australia.

In these projects, Ausbarge has not only supplied plant, equipment and experienced marine crews, but also provided associated skills, expertise, industry knowledge and general support throughout the planning and through the term of the projects.

The two principals jointly having over 70 years of experience in the maritime industry, particularly with tug barging operations and are both Marine Masters and Engineers. Both are also actively involved in the everyday operations of the business.

Ausbarge Marine Services philosophy is to maintain a good working relationship with the client by providing industry knowledge and know-how to find cost effective, safe and efficient solutions to problems and concerns which confront projects during the planning and the term of the project.
